To leave a legacy:

These are what I want to be remembered for—my legacy.   These too will what describes my spirituality.

I want to see myself to become more spiritual and closer to God rather than religious.

I’ll strive to understand more about spirituality and be closer to God. The truth is I do no longer believe in religion.   For me, religion is a group of people who thought they are doing things in  Godly ways and make rules on the number of prayers that must be done in a day, on how people should behave according to God’s eye and so on and on.

Hey, there a lot of people who had unfortunate childhood which cause them to act and live the way they are now.   And what religions do, they cast out or punish people who do not follow God’s rule according to what the holy scripture says.  What’s worse, they make the person feel so bad and not loved by God because of the wrongdoings they consciously or unconsciously did.

I’ll site an example,  the holy scripture says, a person must be loving, respecting and obedient to his/her parents or older people.  How can a person be loving, respecting and obedient to his/her own parents or older people when these people sexually abused or the one neglected or emotionally tortured or physically beaten him/her?  How can a person love and forgive his/her own father/mother or an older person when he/she is the one who sexually abused or the one neglected or emotionally tortured or physically beaten him/her?  Loving and forgiving is tough for these people.  And because, doing act of kindness is hard and tough for these people and can not follow God’s rules or church rules, the religion will cast out or punish them.

A person who is badly hurt especially during his/her childhood days can do horrendous crime.  Anger and Toxic Shame grip these people and the goodness and kindness  in them are sucked out and consumed by the inner toxins.   What these people need  are more loving, understanding and emotional-psychological healing.  We forgive them no matter how hard and impossible it is.

It is said that our physical world is the actualization of our thoughts and the thoughts we think about another person, we bring to pass in our own experience.  The people who did us wrong whether consciously or unconsciouly, if we always think of those wrongdoings, we will always experience them.  So the best way is to forgive and release them.  This way the person who did wrong-doings will be released from those thoughts and will be stopped from doing the same things over and over again.  Hence, forgiveness is a gift to ourselves and for the person who committed the wrong acts.  So, stop thinking the thoughts about  the pains and hurts of the past, let’s release them including the people in these thoughts.

For me childhood is the most crucial stage of a person’s life.  This is the part where a person is being formed, shaped up and conditioned.  Whatever the person experiences in this stage will surely dictate what he will become and do in his adult life.

That’s whyI would like to  do philanthropic activities for the children.

I would like  to foster parentless children or send at least two homeless or parentless children to school for 2010 and more children beyond 2010. I would like to do and show kindness for the children. I would like to do other philanthropic tasks like give and  distribute school supplies and foot-wears to less fortunate children.

I would like to contribute to the development of the children.  I would like to contribute to the self-esteem of the children.  I would like the children to see themselves that they are wonderful creatures and I would like them to believe themselves that they can become better and responsible adults in the future.

To love:

These are those I want for my relational, social and emotional life.

1.  Love myself more.

I can not give what I do not have.  I can not give love If I do not have love for myself. I believe I may be able to give love more to others when I know how will I love myself.   I will love myself more so I can contribute to peace and happiness to others.

2. Enjoy great relationships with all members of my family.
3.  Enjoy outstanding relationship with my love partner, grow beautifully and lovingly together.

4.  Be one of the best friend a person could ever have

5.  Learn more about personhood and behavioural science so I can understand others and relate/deal with them better.

6.  Shift my perception about people.  I will see them from a different lens.

I will work out on my paradigms and will shift how I look at other people.  I will see others as more loving and kinder.  People experience life and in life’s journey, pains are encountered. I will see people who did bad things not as bad people rather I’ll see them that they are just hurt and acting out their anger and pains.  I would like to be part of their emotional-psychological healing.     I ‘ll pray for them and for their healing.  I’ll pray for them that they will be freed from anger and pains and that they will  receive more love from others and live wonderful and happier lives.

7.  Work out on me

The saying “I am just human” is used as a form of justification by most people to release theirselves from guilt or from wrong-doings they did.    In one way or another as much as we avoid hurting others still consciously or unconsciously we do the very thing and as a result of loving and protecting ourselves we hurt others.

Being a human, I am not an exception to this, I would like to work out on the cleansing and healing of my past hurts and work out releasing stress and pressures from day-to-day living so I will not act out and hurt others.  I will work out on my intrapersonal, interpersonal and people skills more.

In relation, I’ll work out on becoming happier and  having more inner strength.   Be a person who is lovable, likeable, loving, forgiving, understanding, caring and with terrific sense of humor.

To learn

These are those I want to learn and accomplish.  These are the skills, talents and abilities that I want to add for myself so it will me help me have, be or do whatever it is that listed here.

1.  For 2010, I want to automate things so time-taking tasks will be shortened after all we only have 24 hours per day.  I would like to learn and be an expert in computer programming.  As such, I would like to be an expert in

• html,
• css,
• javascript,
• jquery,
• php,
• mySQL and related mysql query and
• related topics.

2.  I also want to gain additional skills in training and lecturing.

I want that my audiences are alive and not bored or sleepy during my lectures.   I will think of methodologies that will make them engage in the lectures and be more interactive.  More important, I want my audience to understand and absorb what I am talking about.  It is my responsibility to make them understand what I am trying to point out or what I am trying to convey .   I want them to benefit from the lectures I am delivering.  I  want it that my topics are of benefit to  the attendees.

3.  In relation to training and lecturing, I’ll join a ToastMaster’s club or similar-purposed club.

I  want to join these club.  I want to enhance more of my public speaking skills.  Therefore, I will surround myself with people  who will help me achieve this.  And,  joining clubs of this kind will surely a benefit for me and will help me accomplish my vision.

4.  Be a master at Photo Reading

I would like to understand and absorb what I am reading.  Learning and mastering Photo Reading will be a great help to me once I master this skill.

5.  I love to see myself as a great cook.

I love to eat and I want that I can cook delicious and nutritious meals.  The meals that I will be preparing must  contribute  to the physical health and wellness of those I will cook for and also that it will be not too expensive.  I love to see myself that I can prepare and cook  healthy, nutritious, delicious and not expensive meals.

1. Normal and healthy BMI (Body Mass Index)
2. 50 kilos in weight
3. A body measurement of 36-23-36 (wink…wink)
4. Being able to walk or run at least 1hour without stopping.  This is for my cardio.
5. Perfect digestive system —cured of my acidity and dyspepsia
6. Healed ear drums and no buzzing in my ears.
7. Always eat a perfect and balance diet.

I want to replace my mountaineering hobby with a hobby which will engage me physically.  For this 2010, I will join running clubs and be engaged in Fun Run activities.

I wrote about Sense of Significance in one of my blog articles. This article is somewhat related to it.

A friend lent me an Audi Book (Audio CD).  It is about 101 Dreams.

The way I understand it, DREAMS boils down to life’s purpose being dreams as our heart’s yearnings and desires.

Pause…what are these yearnings? What are these desires?  What are these heart’s longing?  Aren’t they what the so-called DREAMS?

It said, whatever that we want or we dreamed of we must write it down.  Whatever that make us feel complete and whatever that will make us feel satisfied we must write it down.  It is said that we list down the 101 Dreams we want and achieve them or get while we are alive.

I did some tweaking to it. Yes, while numbering them from 1 to 101 I grouped them into this…
