Sense Of Significance

In the past, I attended a live lecture.  In this lecture, the speaker mentioned that for us to have a direction in life we must have a guidance system. He said, to find out what or established our guidance system, it is suggested that we answer “why we are here?”   He is basically lecturing about life’s purpose.

You know what?  I find it hard to answer the question.  How am I suppose to answer “Why are we here?”  This reminded me of my “Logic 101” subject in my college days.  That was the last time I heard about this question and now being revived by this speaker.  Back then, being a college student, being young I really do not give a damn whether I answer this question or not.

As the days roll by, the question made me think and made me ask myself…”Really, why I am here?”   Why I am doing what I am doing?  Why I am working so hard and giving all my time for work?  For what?

  1. Remember in the movie Kung Fu Panda when he opens the Dragon Scroll and sees nothing but his reflection? The Panda then goes on to realize that “he was the secret ingredient” and thus emerging upon the idea that the power had always resided there within him. We create our own universe every time we open our eyes. Instead of looking for someone to ask “why we are here?” or “what is the meaning of my life?” we can just decide what we want and give meaning to our own lives. We are really that powerful. Take care my friend and thank you for your comment on my post regarding “belief”.
